Nina Kallen has over twenty years of successful experience in civil litigation. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts throughout Massachusetts. She has a particular expertise in insurance coverage issues, and represents insurers and insureds in coverage and bad faith disputes. She has an award-winning blog called Insurance Coverage Law in Massachusetts.

Attorney Kallen is also “the lawyer’s lawyer.” She specializes in brief-writing for other attorneys who need help with their civil litigation cases.

Attorney Kallen graduated from Yale University in 1986 and from Northeastern University School of Law in 1994. After clerking for the Massachusetts Superior Court, she worked for six years as an associate with the insurance defense firms of Neville & Kelley and Boyle & Morrissey (now called Boyle, Shaughnessy & Campo). She opened her own practice in 2002.

When she is not working Attorney Kallen enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering in various capacities as a parent of students in the Boston Public Schools, hiking, ice skating, and reading trashy novels. She writes fiction and is an award-winning poet.
