Nina Kallen provides civil litigation services to both plaintiffs
and defendants. In addition, as “the lawyer’s lawyer,” she subcontracts to other attorneys on brief-writing and other
litigation tasks. Attorney Kallen has a particular expertise in insurance coverage issues. She offers a seminar to law firms and groups of attorneys on “Winning Your First (Or Next) Motion For Summary Judgment.”
Attorney Kallen has more than fifteen years of successful experience in civil litigation. After graduating from Yale University in 1986 and Northeastern University School of Law in 1994 she clerked for the Massachusetts Superior Court for one year. She then spent four years as an associate with the firm of Neville & Kelley and two years as an associate with the firm of Boyle, Morrissey & Campo. In those positions she had exclusive responsibility for cases ranging from personal injury and premises liability to complex construction defect claims with value in excess of $1 million dollars. She also gained extensive experience in insurance coverage disputes. She appeared in the Massachusetts District and Superior Courts and the United States District Court and Court of Appeals.
Since opening her own law practice in 2002 Attorney Kallen has represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases and other civil matters in Massachusetts District and Superior Court cases, drafted numerous research memoranda, dispositive motions and appellate briefs for other attorneys, appeared before the United States Court of Appeals, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and other courts, and assisted clients and other attorneys on many insurance coverage issues.
